Description:
An unusual creamware jug from Dixon & Co of Sunderland. Very attractive with the Iconic view of the bridge over the river Wear subtly decorated, as is the garland, on the reverse side, surrounding the ditty about the loss go gold.The narrow bands of black around the rim and neck set off this beautiful piece.
Circa 1820
Approx - 5.75 inches (145mm) tall.
In very good condition throughout.
